Union County Young Professionals

The Union County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the creation of Union County Young Professionals (UCYP), a group that brings together young professionals to exchange ideas, interact socially and share common interest in order to position themselves as Union County’s future business and community leaders.

During the last few years, many communities nationwide have formed young professionals organizations to combat “brain drain” and increase talent retention, which not only attracts new businesses, but also increases the local quality of life as young professionals become more involved with important community issues.

The UCYP offers members the opportunity to network with peers and community/business leaders, enjoy casual luncheons and after-work social events, explore career and leadership development opportunities, discuss hot topics and political issues, and participate in community service events. And while some may be confused by the term “young professional,” membership in UCYP is open to anyone living or working in Union County, regardless of age (all you need is a friendly, progressive attitude!).

Who We Are...

We wear blue collars, white collars or no collars at all.
We work day shifts, night shifts or make our own hours.
We live or work in Union County and care about its future.
We are both young and old and have progressive attitudes.
We are creative, passionate and equally determined.
We want to harness the collective strength of our community and make positive changes.

What We Offer...

UCYP is a group of young professionals that exchange ideas, interact socially and share our common interests in order to position ourselves as Union County's future business and community leaders.

UCYP offers members the opportunity to network with peers and community/business leaders, enjoy casual luncheons and after-work social gatherings, explore career and leadership development prospects, discuss hot topics and political issues, and participate in community service events.

UCYP allows members the chance to network in some of the hottest venues in Union County and Central Ohio, and enjoy the best our community has to offer.

How It Works...

While some may be confused by the term "young professional," membership in UCYP is open to anyone living or working in Union County, regardless of age. We just require that our members have a positive and progressive attitude!
